A warm welcome to Octopus Class from Mr Milsted and Miss Phillips.
Our curriculum
This is an important year for the children as they prepare to make the move to secondary school and take end of key stage 2 tests, often referred to as SATs. These tests take place in May and include reading, maths, spelling and grammar.

P.E. days
Our PE days are Wednesday and Thursday. Please send your children to school wearing their PE clothes on these two days.

Upcoming events
We continue to try and be as open, supportive and welcoming to parents and carers as possible. As part of this ethos, we hold numerous events for parents and carers throughout the school year but you may wish to note these ones:
12:00 to 12:45 on Wednesday 11th December – Christmas lunch for children.
2:00pm to 3:00pm on Tuesday 17th December – Year 3 to year 6 Cafe and Carols.
Wednesday 18th December – Year 4 to year 6 pantomime at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing.
2:00pm to 3:00pm on Thursday 19th December – Year 3 to year 6 Cafe and Carols.
Wednesday 15th January – Indoor athletics at BACA (12 boys and 12 girls from years 4 to 6).
Monday 27th January – School photos.
Thursday 13th March 2025 – Stinger netball at the University of Brighton (8 children from years 5 & 6).
Planned trips
The children will be going on our residential trip to Lymley Wood in June.
