A warm welcome to Seahorse Class from Mr Thornton, Mrs Suleyman and Mrs Whalen.
Our curriculum
As your child continues through year 2, there will be a continued focus on phonics and developing their skills in writing and maths – exploring new concepts, developing their writing stamina and ensuring they have opportunities to work with more independence.

P.E. days
Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday. Please send your children to school wearing their PE clothes on these two days.

Upcoming events
We continue to try and be as open, supportive and welcoming to parents and carers as possible. As part of this ethos, we hold numerous events for parents and carers throughout the school year but you may wish to note these key dates:
8:55am to 9:25am on Friday 6th December – Reception, year 1 and year 2 parents and carers are invited to come into your child’s class to read with your child.
2:00pm to 3:00pm on Friday 6th December – Coffee afternoon for parents with children diagnosed with ASC or on the pathway - details to follow.
12:00 to 12:45 on Wednesday 11th December – Christmas lunch for children.
9:30am to 10:30am on Tuesday 17th December – Reception, year 1 and year 2 Christmas show: 'Whoops-a-Daisy-Angel' Nativity Play.
Monday 27th January – School photos.
